RFID Asset Tracking with Asset Sheriff
When manual inventory becomes too slow, RFID can change how physical assets are identified and checked. Through my collaboration with Primtec, I work with Asset Sheriff, an RFID-based solution for asset identification, inventory and location-related workflows.
Asset Sheriff is a Primtec solution. ASSEF does not own the software and is not a Primtec office.

- Associate an RFID tag with an asset
- Scan tagged assets with a handheld reader
- Compare detected assets with expected asset information
- Identify and validate discrepancies
- Synchronize confirmed information with the database

RFID suitability depends on the assets, tags, environment and workflow. I do not personally install or maintain RFID equipment.
